Dear Reader, I met Debby one short month ago and am so thankful to her for all she has helped me with. I intially went to get help for my son with autism but soon learned during the interview that there were some things in my past that were affecting me physically and emotionally. With joy and sadness, I found my way to Debby Bruck's SHEMA studio. You see, I had recently earned the pink ribbon! Yet along with the joy of my returning hair came the sad realization that somewhere, somehow my heart had lost its synchronicity. Faced with the path of increasing bed rest and medication, I could have gently faded away into oblivion. That is not me! I stubbornly screamed to Karen, my physical therapist during one of my lymphadema treatments. I am only 50 years old. I am not done with my life's work. I want to help my family. She recommended Debby Bruck. It was a cold and crisp winter morning, when I drove down the lane that led to SHEMA. No need to look at street numbers. The house literally presented itself with a showing of qi. This must be it I silently told myself - I am no longer lost. When Debby greeted me in the foyer with a knowing smile, it was as if I had met a long-time friend. Thus began my first lesson of guided meditation and Qi Gong. Debby provides a thoughtful approach to guided meditation and learning the Qi Gong movements. Her reassuring voice guides both the meditation and the movement. It started with my husband surfing the web for an answer, you see I had such bad back pain I could barely walk. We tried chiropractors, doctors, and pain medicine. It looked like surgery was my only option. By chance he found Debby's website and thought I should have a look. By this time I had given up on just about everything, but I figured I would give it a try.
When I arrived at Debby's house, I couldn't help but start to feel relaxed as I walked through her garden pathway to her front door. In trying to find a local homeopath to treat my daughter of several
problems, I found Debby through the internet. I emailed her an inquiry and
